1915 : Progress Update #1

July 22, 2019

The project is proceeding through the detailed engineering phase.  3D Shop Drawings are being generated for each part and component to be used in the system, and some drawings have already been Released To Manufacturing.  (RTM).

Slight changes in the placement of several HMI’s have been made to provide a clear line of sight to the components that they control.  Also, small changes in the placement of conveyors have been made to align with robot reach and performance specs.  A modified approval drawing has been sent.

Our Director of Manufacturing, Chris Roman, has established a preliminary project schedule, which is depicted here:

It’s important to note that this schedule is subject to change and will likely be shortened.

What is needed now:

  1. Please review the updated approval drawing (available on the File Manager section of the main project page) and either approve or contact Nick McKenna with any questions.
  2. Be on the lookout for an ‘engineering complete’ progress invoice which will arrive when we’ve reached the RTM milestone.
